You've seen it before, on movies and commercials. These red rock formations soaring high above the desert are an iconic view of the southwest. I'll tell you one thing, though. You haven't really seen Monument Valley until you've experienced it in person.

If you love the outdoors and self-sufficiency but find sleeping under the stars a bit much, this eco-lodge in Sweden could be for you. The rustic huts covered in live greenery look like they sprang up out of the ground, right there in the forest.

For a really cool adventure, how about an ice cave? This incredible spot is part of the Fox Glacier, in New Zealand. You might need to wade through icy waters to reach a spot like this, but the magical light of the glacier-blue ice is a spectacular reward.

For a cool bridge, check out the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede, in Northern Ireland. When you cross (if you dare) this skimpy bridge out to a tiny island, it dangles you almost 100 feet over the rocky waters below. This is definitely a bridge with a thrill!
